Periodontal pocket

It is a small crevice between the gum margin and the neck of the tooth. It is where food particles remain and microbes appear. This microflora is very aggressive. It destroys the ligamentous apparatus of the tooth, the inflammation penetrates deep, spreads to the bone and the tooth, having lost its support, begins to move.

Conservative treatment

Or curettage of gingival (periodontal) pockets is performed in the early stages of periodontitis. At the first signs of the disease it is necessary to immediately contact a dentist or periodontist, if at an early stage of development of periodontitis can still be stopped with conservative treatment, but in the neglected form we treat only surgically.

Progress of treatment

The curettes are used to remove tartar, plaque and affected soft tissues under the gingiva. The surfaces of the teeth are then polished. I came to Clovadent with this problem. Eight years ago, after a boxing injury, I started to have a "crunching" (popping) of the joint on my right side when opening my mouth wide.
